Se Gæst | The Guest

Se Gæst | The Guest
A new production by Anthony Lo-Giudice

Sunday 2nd November

Matinee: 2pm / Evening: 7pm

When a stranger washes up on the shores of England, a community in turmoil is forced to confront their attitudes towards tolerance, survival, blame, nostalgia, and the changing world around them.

Through dance, live music, puppetry, and storytelling Se Gæst | The Guest examines who we are, where we come from, and where we are going as a group of people who currently call England home.

This work has been built following a series of interviews and discussions with multiple communities across England who have shared their nuanced, often conflicting relationships with national identity.

Written and choreographed by acclaimed choreographer and theatre-maker Anthony Lo-Giudice, with performances from a dynamic cast and original live music.

Running time: Approx. 70 minutes
Age guidance: 12+ (contains discussions connected to death)

Standard tickets are £15, but we also offer a £5 'Open Price' option to help remove financial barriers. There’s no need to provide proof or explanation - just choose the option that works best for you. Everyone is equally welcome, and every ticket supports the work we do.

This event is a spark in a wider programme of people, place, and possibility, brought to you by Hearth & The Auckland Project. Thanks to generous external support, events are free to attend or heavily subsidised.
